Patch test first, please!
Patch tests are an easy way to help predict if you will have a negative initial reaction to a new product. It is recommended to perform a patch test before incorporating new products into any skincare routine:
(1) Apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm. Keep the area dry.
(2) After 24 hours rinse the area. If any redness, burning, itching, blistering or irritation is observed at any time throughout the test, do not use the product.

I am a certified holistic healthcare practitioner (AADP), nutritionist, and herbalist. In my practice I work with virtually every health condition. I do a lot of work with cancer. While there are many health benefits of black seed oil, I always use this with my clients who have cancer. It is very important to me that the percentage of thymoquinone be exceptional, and this is why I choose the Freshfield brand. The oil is cold pressed, which means no harmful solvents are involved and no decrease in potency due to heat. I am also impressed that the oil is packaged in glass and not plastic. My general recommendation is 1 tsp twice daily mixed with 1 tsp of raw honey, as the two work together in a synergistic fashion.
I love this product. I have been taking the black seed oil for a couple of years. Whenever My throat got itchy, soar or funny feeling, I start taking this product for a couple of times. And the symptoms are gone.
This brand of Nigella sativa oil holds up to my expectations. I love the medicinal taste, I feel confident that it works as an anti-viral, for EBV and more with the thymoquinone. Third-party testing is a must, and Freshfield states that they keep this standard. It was shipped well, no complaints.
Black seed oil, nigela sativa, is an interesting product. It tastes terrible, but it is very good for you. It will benefit your health and even keep pain away. I take it with a teaspoon of honey, myself. It's good then. Try it. Give it some time for the benefits to set in, and they will.
