How to recycle your packaging
There is no silver bullet solution to the plastic pollution crisis but we are continuously working on new alternatives that lower our impact.
Compostable PLA
These plant-based PLA bottles are certified industrial compostable and made from excess sugarcane purchased from farmers in Southeast Asia via Bonsucro, the global platform for sustainable sugar. They will compost in your home compost but it will take longer than a normal compost cycle.
If your area does not offer composting, please place the packaging in your recycling as you would with other products.
Glass
Glass is infinitely recyclable but is energy intensive through the whole process.
To recycle: Remove and discard label. Ensure inside of container is clean. Add packaging to your regular recycling pickup or take to your nearest recycling facility.
HDPE & PET
Although we are transitioning to better alternatives, some of our products still use HDPE or PET packaging. HDPE and PET are some of the easiest plastic polymers to recycle and is accepted by most recycling facilities worldwide.
To recycle: Remove and discard label. Ensure inside of container is clean. Add packaging to your regular recycling pickup or take to your nearest recycling facility.
