🧡 Food should be delicious and life giving. It’s not hard to be big fans of smoothies because it’s SO easy to sneak in extra healthy ingredients like the carrots in this recipe. Magic. 🧡
This has oranges for vitamin C to prevent skin damage and keep the immune system humming along nicely and beta carotene from the carrots for night vision. Kidding, you won’t be able to see in the dark just by eating carrots but they’re still good for you.
3 oranges (segmented, laid on a pan and frozen)
1 or 2 large carrots
2-4 dates (adjust to depending on your preferred level of sweetness)
1 tsp of vanilla
1/2 cup of coconut cream
1 – 15 ounce can of light coconut milk
Coconut whip and/or coconut cream for garnish
And put it all in the blender! If you don’t freeze the oranges, no biggie. You can always just add a bit of ice! And if it ends up being too thick, just add water till it’s the right consistency!
